JustSell (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the JustSell application (the “App”) available on the Shopify App Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you install and use our App.

By installing the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 Store Information

When you install the App, we collect:

  • Store name, domain, and email address
  • Store owner name and contact details
  • Store currency and timezone settings

2.2 Product and Inventory Data

To provide synchronisation services, we access and store:

  • Product titles, descriptions, prices, images, and variants
  • Inventory levels and location data
  • Collection and category information

2.3 Order Data

When order synchronisation is enabled, we access:

  • Order details including line items, totals, and fulfilment status
  • Shipping and billing addresses associated with orders

2.4 Customer Data

When customer synchronisation is enabled, we access:

  • Customer names, email addresses, and phone numbers
  • Customer addresses
  • Order history associated with customers

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Synchronise products, orders, inventory, and customers between your Shopify store and JustSell platform
  • Provide real-time inventory updates across sales channels
  • Display sync status, logs, and error reporting in the App dashboard
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with the integration
  • Improve the performance and reliability of our services

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
  • Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to third parties
  • Database access is restricted to authorised personnel only

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted third-party hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the App
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the App is installed on your store. Sync logs are retained for 90 days. Upon uninstalling the App:

  • Your Shopify access token is immediately revoked
  • Sync configuration and webhook registrations are removed
  • Store data is purged within 30 days

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Shopify GDPR Compliance

Our App complies with Shopify’s mandatory GDPR webhooks:

  • Customer data request: We respond to requests for customer data within 30 days
  • Customer data erasure: We delete customer personal data upon request
  • Shop data erasure: We delete all store data when a store owner requests erasure

9. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies or tracking technologies on your Shopify storefront. We do not collect data from your store’s visitors beyond what is necessary for synchronisation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
