What is B2C Ecommerce?

It’s where goods (or services) are sold online to consumers. Those consumers may be individuals or businesses, but the goods will not be sold onwards. They will be used/consumed.
Who is JustSell B2C suitable for?
Businesses selling (or looking to sell) online, especially those with (or aspiring to have) mid-to-high turnover or value good support.
And who is it not suitable for?
Some competitors (Shopify) have lower entry-priced tiers. JustSell B2C is not the best option for businesses with a low online turnover and likely no need for customer support. Once sales reach slightly higher levels, ‘hidden’ turnover costs start to bite, and you could be better off with JustSell.
If I set up a JustSell B2C webshop, how will customers find me?
JustSell won’t bring you customers, unlike marketplace portals such as Amazon and eBay. But JustSell has built-in SEO tools so that you can get ranked on Google with a little work. Social media is your ‘best friend’ for bringing customers to your site. You need to be active on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and other sites. By avoiding the marketplace portals, you avoid their hefty fees and keep your customers’ data, enabling you to market directly to them for repeat sales.
Does JustSell B2C integrate with eBay, Amazon and Etsy?
Yes, it does. Your listings can be pushed to these platforms (prices can be increased to account for their charges). When sales happen, the stock count will be reflected in JustSell. JustSell B2C makes it easier to manage sales, prices, and availability in one place when selling on multiple platforms.
Does JustSell B2C use AI?
In our roadmap are the following items concerning AI.
a) Identify items not selling fast enough and taking up warehouse storage space,
b) Generative AI for product descriptions for better SEO ranking and finding missing images
c) AI to create seasonal promotions and offers as, at the moment, they have to hire extra staff to do basic promotional activities
d) Engage with customers who have made recent purchases and ask for feedback. If positive, then post on social media and offer a discount voucher for the customer to post (tagging the store).
What should I look for in a payment provider?
You need to look at the charges. They will take a percentage of your turnover, and this needs to be minimised. It will never be 0%, but you need it low. Similar to any other fees and how long they keep your money before transferring it into your business account. The longer they keep it, the longer you can’t use it to invest or pay wages and bills. You also need to look at support and chargeback. If payments are missing and all you can deal with is an artificial-unintelligent bot, you will regret selecting them. OR if you have only email support. Or you call their helpline, spend a long time queuing, and then talk to someone who can’t help. Some payment providers are all too eager to issue chargebacks and don’t bother understanding the issue from the merchants’ perspective.
