Frequently asked questions

Can YouDo be used as a project management tool?

Somewhat. YouDo doesn’t (yet) consider the dependability of one task upon another. Although tasks can be scheduled, it doesn’t work for complex projects with many dependencies. It will help with all but the most complex.
Can YouDo give a cost for all jobs/tasks? Even in different countries?
Absolutely. Set your company’s default currency. On everyone’s HR page, put their hourly rate and payment currency. Jobs/tasks are easy to add into YouDo, either for oneself or to send to another. Add/send your jobs to the task bucket. Schedule them as required and drag them into the ‘Working On’ box when working on it.
The time and cost associated with the task will be recorded.
(Currency conversion rates need to be added/adjusted manually.)
Can YouDo calculate meeting costs?
Yes. When a meeting is dragged to “Working On,” all those who are invited to the meeting have their times recorded. The cost of the meeting is also recorded. (If someone doesn’t turn up, the meeting organiser can remove their cost.)
Why do you offer YouDo for free for 3 people, but as soon as a fourth is added, why do you charge for all 4?
The more people you have registered for YouDo, the more you benefit. That’s why we subsidise when there are three accounts. With four accounts, you will be benefiting fully, which is why we add a modest cost.
