How does B2B trade differ from B2C?

B2B merchants trade goods with other businesses, who then either use the goods in the function of their own business or resell the goods to consumers.
B2B purchases typically are in bulk, with larger order prices albeit at smaller profit margins.
B2B trade is often more personal, with individual negotiated pricing or bulk buying discounts.
B2B payment methods also differ, with the preference for less costly methods concerning the percentage taken by payment providers. (Lower margin and higher transaction costs really bite here). Payment might be on credit or delayed.
B2C merchant trades are more straightforward (fewer decision makers), have lower transaction costs, generally at fixed prices, and have higher margins. They are typically paid immediately by credit/debit card.
How do B2B traders' requirements from an Ecommerce platform differ from B2C merchants?
B2B Ecommerce platforms need client-specific pricing ability and/or volume discounts. Order history, easy reordering, and order history are important (also applicable to B2C). Quotes and payment terms (credit, invoices, ACH, check/cheque upload) differ significantly from B2C. B2B merchants can have complex delivery rules because of the bulk, value, and weight they ship on individual orders.
B2B businesses can have larger scalability, customisation, and integration requirements. As B2B workers work more on desktop PCs, there is less of a need for mobile-first solutions.

Why should I not go with the open-source free option of WooCommerce?
You say ‘free’, but it’s not free. You might not pay license costs, but other costs can be substantial. In all likelihood, unless you are very technical, you will not be saving anything. You’ll need to purchase/subscribe to plugins to do more than the basics. Plugins have to be regularly updated. Sometimes, they stop working with one another. Even if you are technical, do you have the spare hours every month to maintain the platform and keep it secure?
Can a combined B2B and B2C business work on the JustSell platform?
